Biography

Miao Yuanxin: Associate Chief Physician, Department of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery, The Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University. Graduated from Qingdao University Medical College in 2004 with a major in Clinical Medicine; began pursuing a master's degree in 2006; served as a visiting scholar at MDACC in Houston, USA, from 2008 to 2009; and in 2016 pursued advanced studies in aesthetic and plastic surgery techniques in the Department of Plastic Surgery at Kyung Hee University, South Korea. Clinically specializes in facial aesthetic plastic surgery and reconstruction, as well as liposuction and body contouring, axillary osmidrosis correction, repair of various scars, prominent ear correction, gynecomastia correction, hyaluronic acid injection for minimally invasive aesthetic treatment, and botulinum toxin for wrinkle reduction. Has co-authored more than 10 articles, including 6 in foreign-language journals, all indexed by SCI with impact factors above 3.0; 2 were published in domestic core journals.
